How repos are ranked
Trending (default): two Trendshift sources merged (deduped, max of overlapping figures), each repo max-normalized then scored:

Marketing lens: a wider candidate pool (7d + 30d trending + recent monthly engagements) is gated to validated repos (≥1,000 stars, or ≥150 stars gained this month, or trended ≥2×), matched against a marketing/comms application rubric, then hand-scored 0–3 for genuine usefulness. Top 10 by fit shown, with application tags and a “why for marketers” note.
Sorting re-orders cards; the # badge is the composite rank in trending view and the marketing rank in the marketing view.
